On January 24th, the Carleton College Asian Student In Ameria (ASIA) Club put together an event in celebrating the Lunar New Year: the Year of the Ox. It is a collaboration of multiple ethnic Asian students. Performances were the main attraction at the event as students have rehearsed for weeks so to enhance their skills. They played music, sing songs, dances and more. Althought the entertainments were great, they weren’t the only attraction at the event.
My job as a cinema media student was to capture this amazing event and present it in a Photo Essay. In this presentation, I’m expected to show a progressive movement in which the event took place (beginning, middle, and end).
Here is one example of the many photos I took and edited using Photoshop CS4.
